The ‘Mates are leaving for spring break tomorrow ! (Friday, 15th) The destination: DUBLIN, IRELAND! If you want to hear us perform in your home, your work place, or your school, book us now! Until then, if you’ll be in Dublin for the next week, you will undoubtedly hear us singing on the cobble stoned streets, at food markets in the vicinity, and in the St. Patrick’s Day PARADE! Recap of 2012 and Congratulations New Officers!

The Mates are currently recovering from a busy yet very exciting fall semester! (Special thanks to our past business manager Ryan Johnson for making that happen) The semester began with our homecoming performance in Goddard Chapel in which two babies (Mallory Feldman and Tammara Gary) debuted their first solos. The Mates performed with great energy, passion, and blend as past alumni, parents, and friends attested.

This energy was soon witnessed by the kind folks of the Tufts Veterinary School, the talented students of Winchester High school, and the enthused faculty and students of Wellesley College. The Mates enjoyed a festive evening of caroling at Fenway Park later on in the season as well as a very exciting performance at The Rodman Ride 10th Annual Celebration for Kids event at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. Special thanks to the Rodman’s for allowing us to, once again, perform at the glamorous dinner event.

The Mates ended the season with a fun Christmas celebration and the annual election of new officers. Congratulations:

Vice Business Manager: Tammara Gary ’16

Thank you Foster, Ryan and Will for being such great officers! The Mates are temporarily saying goodbye to Ryan Johnson as he will be taking this next semester off from the Mates; and goodbye to our beautiful and talented Charlotte Gilbert as she embarks upon her semester study abroad adventure in Cape Town, South Africa. Their presence will truly be missed!

The ‘Mates are OVERJOYED to announce the arrival of three wonderful babies! Ethan Kempner, Tammara Gary, and Mallory Feldman, all members of the class of 2016, are Amalgamates as of this morning. Their voices and personalities are unmatched and will bring the group far!

Ethan, Tammara, and Mallory, as well as Charlotte (our baby from last winter!) will have their own pages soon! Keep an eye out for them to learn more about our new friends.

CALLBACKS! (Night 2)

The ‘Mates have finished auditions for the fall 2012 semester! Once again, the Amalgamates saw a large turnout for the second night in a row. We’re pleased to announce that we have 3 singers from Wednesday night that have been given callbacks:

The 3 singers are:
Tammara Gary – Class of 2016
Lincoln Gray – Class of 2016
Ellis Srubas-Giammanco – Class of 2016

Congrats callbackees! We hope to see you at our callback! Please call Foster [(802) 343-4551] BY 6:00PM in order to take our callback. At that point, you’ll meet with the group for callbacks in Aidekman 12 at 7:30pm.
